Impact of psychological worry

I'm wondering what the impact of psychological worry has on the body regarding fear of STD's and unprotected oral sex. I notice many people complain of mild burning in their urethra shortly after such an encounter, and although many various tests come back negative and the people take various courses of anti-biotics, they still encounter this problem. Being a hypocondriac myself, I wonder if this could just be mental anxiety. In my case, when I wake up in the morning, I don't have a problem, but as soon as I get up and start using my mind, the constant thought and worry makes that sensation come around.

if this was caused by a std, the pain/symptoms would be constant.
