Is it ??

Is it ??

I had unportected sex around 6 months ago, and was tested for HIV, gonnerhea, chalymedia, UTI, all came back negative. I have had since for about 4 months now, little red bumps like 2 near the ureathra on the penis head. The tip of the penis has been red for the past 4 months. Went to see my family doctor and dignosed it with a yeast infection, gave me some anti-bacteria cream, which seems to work, but the two little bumps are still there. They do not look like blister and around less then 1mm in diamater.

Just wondering what it could be and any suggestions what i should do ?

Can herpes be present for long periods like i am exerpiancing ?? or do they present themselves, crust and then heal

Thank you for your help

Uncircumcised men often get inflammation (the medical term is "balanitis") of the head of the penis and inside of the foreskin, and balanitis sometimes is due to yeast.  So your doctor likely was right.

There are small glands, called periurethral glands, one on each side of the opening; they can appear as red spots.  So if the two spots one one each side, especially toward the lower part of the opening, that's what they are.  If that doesn't seem right, recheck with your doctor.

This doesn't sound like herpes.  As you suggest, herpes lesions come and go, going over 7-14 days from red bump to blister to pimple to crust/scab, then healing.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

I forgot to mention, it usually gets really red after sex and masterbation (masturbation). I am uncut, and is mostly red under the forskin.

What are the symptoms of classic herpes for men and visual differences ???

P.S This was the first time i had sex too.

Classical herpes starts as a red bump, sometimes with tingling 1-2 days ahead of time; then over a 8-10 days the bump changes to a vesicle (blister-like), then pustule (pimple-like) or an open sore, then crusting (scab), followed by healing.
