Is it possible to get a std from something like this?

by dothackzero, Jul 05, 2009 11:51PM
Okay, so i went to work today, and they made me shave. After I finished shaving, I stupidly took some toilet paper(it was still in the dispenser for the toilet paper), and not knowing if it was used it or not. and got the shaving cream off my face, and yes there was more than one cut for the something to get into it. if there was something like sperm or blood or vaginal fluids on there, whould I have a chance of getting a std from it? I don't know how long it was setting there.

Is it just my ocd screwing with me?

You can not get a STD that way. They are called Sexually Transmitted for a reason.

Ok.  I'm going to have to be blatantly honest and brutal with this one. Why would you think someone would take the time to unroll toilet paper, use it, then roll it back up?  I know I can tell if toilet paper, or any type of paper has been used and dried.  Any dried fluid would have been noticeable.  I'm sorry but your question is ridiculous.  Std's do not survive in the air especially after being dried.  You would have noticed blood.  Red/brown on white toilet paper.  Semen, it's thick and sticky so would not have dried to be perfectly smooth on a roll.  Vaginal fluids...well, no woman wipes herself and puts toilet paper back on the roll.  I don't know of any man doing this as well.  And then what I would like to know is why would you use toilet paper you think has already been used?  Or paper towel, towel?  That is just absolutely gross!  This is a senseless question.

This is not a risk for anything.  Toilet paper in a public bathroom is not crawling with germs let alone std's.  It's your anxiety disorder totally messing with you.

Like I said, I wasn't paying attention when I took the toilet paper.
