Is this Herpes II or HIV ???

Hello everyone. I really need your help......tks
Back in mid January I had a one time encounter with a woman and I used a condom. About 6 weeks later I noticed a red VERY small pimple on the shaft of my penis and so i started freaking out! I started to Google the same day and the following day I started having many symptoms. I had anxiety, 98.3 fever, urge to urinate ALOT, lots of shivering, some itching on my pelvic area, burning sensation on the head of my penis but NOT while urinating, neck pains, canker sores, and my tongue got white with a foam...I went to the doctor and he did a swab on the extremely small pimple and it came back negative for Herpes 2. He did bloodwork for EVERYTHING and everything was negative except Herpes 2 which came back Positve for a "New Marker".
He told me to wait 2 months and to check again to see if that "new marker" will turn into a positive....
And so i went back on late May ( like 17 weeks after encounter) and the same reading came back AGAIN...Negative for HIV, Negative for Herpes 2 but Positve on a "New Marker" for Herpes 2.
The doctor has sent me to a Specialist on control and disease because he says this is really strange that there's still a Positive for a "new marker" on hepes 2 after like 17 weeks....
As of now, i haven't had any outbreaks at all and I have concluded that the small little pimple was just something else....
I know that I tested NEGATIVE for HIV at about 17 weeks....but I'm still scared that this "new marker" on my IGG count is related to HIV....
what do you guys think???? I need help...
The specialist told me that he believes all this is just a cross reaction. He sent me out to do more bloodwork including other things that are not related to std's to fing out....

any valid opinions??????

Well, the fact that you used a condom and your test results logically leads to the conclusion that you do not have HIV, definitely.  Hsv2, possibly, but I would still think your chances are slim to have gotten hsv2.  He swabbed the area and it was negative, so it would seem so.  The only thing at this point I would think would be to take his advice and see an std specialist.

Any further questions should be asked in their respective forums.
