Is this an STD or something innocent?

Hi. I'm 18. I've had a few sexual partners, so I guess an STD could be possible? I hope that's not what this is. I've gotten pimple-like bumps before, usually different from this though.

Two days ago, I found a small bump on my outer labia. It was small and like a light reddish-pink color but it was really hard. It seemed to harden the skin around it a bit too. Yesterday, I tried to pop it, but it wouldn't pop and I thought it best to just leave it alone. It doesn't have a point like a normal pimple would. Today, I checked it again, and it is significantly larger. About the size of a bead. It hurts when I touch it or if I apply pressure or sit directly on it.

I thought maybe it was just an ingrown hair, as I read lots of posts a lot like mine. But then I read a self-diagnosis thing that says if the bump appears to be filled with yellow pus or oozes clear fluid, it's probably Herpes. But I thought Herpes came in clusters? This is just one bump!

I put a wet washcloth over it, and when I took it off, there was a small hole at the top of the bump. I squeezed lightly around the hole and clear fluid came out, then the blood came. Eventully, the entire bump filled with blood. But it hasn't popped, it still maintains its shape.

Is this Herpes? Is this an STD? I'm scared. I really don't want to have to deal with all of the complications of telling my mom she needs to take me to get tested if it's not worth it. Please help me. I'm freaking out. I have pictures if needed.

the best thing to do is to be seen tomorrow and get this looked at. so many things it can be and it needs proper evaluation. no more picking at it either!

do you use condoms?

do you get tested for std's ? do your partners?

have you had your gardasil shot series for hpv?

I do usually use condoms, but I've performed oral many times, never with a condom, and I'm pretty sure that can transfer STDs.

I haven't had sex in a while.
I left a washcloth on the area when I went to sleep last night
and this morning, it had practically disappeared.
It became a tiny, barely raised, pink dot that doesnt hurt.

And no, I've never gotten shots or vaccines for anything.
I'm just going to wait a month until I go to college and get tested
in the city near there, so I don't have to deal with my mother.

But you are correct, herpes usually comes in clusters and are blistery like things and does sting or hurt.  Herpes  Feels like a constant thing there, kinda like a warm feeling.  Also it come with a "fever like" feeling or a "not well feeling.  

That you PERFORMED oral sex puts you at ZERO risk for GENITAL HERPES.

Just abstain from sex for a while until you figured it out.
