Is this syphilis?

I had unprotected oral sex(giving/receiving) with this guy. I have been doing this with him for about a month, so the first time I did it with him was about a month ago.

I was feeling the sting when I masturbated yesterday, and today I found a sore on the exact spot where it stung. It doesn't sore any more, but you could clearly see something is there now. It's round shaped, red, shiny(hasn't scabbed yet), and flat.

Is there any chance that I have syphilis? Could I stop worrying once it scabs(it hasn't yet). How long syphilis chancres usually last?

Could it be syphilis...yes it is possible but not likely. Syphilis often does not effect the mouth so it would be a low risk that he had a syphilis canker in his mouth.

Google a syphilis sore to take a look and compare it to what you have. You will see that it is probably different.

I don't know what you mean by open but I don't think so. It's not as red as it used to be yesterday(it's morning here).

No it would not scab over like a cut.

Thanks for the advice. I checked the pictures and mine doesn't look as bad as those examples. Maybe it's just a scratch..but I'll get tested 6 weeks later anyway(I sort of have OCD) If it really is a syphilis sore it won't scab like any other ordinary scars, right?
