Itching and don't know why

I recently had protected intercourse and unprotected oral sex. About 4 days afterward I started having itching of the scrotum and the head of my penis. A few days after that I had 2 occurances of white discharge in the morning.
I went and got tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis and all came back negative. The itching persists and sometimes slight buring at the tip.
Any ideas?

Discharge from the penis usually means urethritis.  Although chlamydia is an important cause, most cases of nongonococcal urethritis, or NGU (which by definition means urethritis not due to gonorrhea) are due to other bacteria--the exact cause generally isn't known.  NGU can be acquired by oral exposure; bacteria that are normal in the mouth and throat probably can cause problems in the urethra.

Although many cases eventually resolve on their own, your continuing symptoms means the infection still is active.  You need an antibiotic, usually doxycycline or azithromycin.  Go back to your health care provider (with this message, if you like) and request it.
