Itchy, scaly, blistering pubic mound...help needed!

I've been experiencing the above symptoms for almost a couple of months now. It started with 1 little pus-filled pimple-like bumb on the pubic mound then it became itchy (I couldn't help but scratch), it got scaly, would dry up sometimes then itchy again. Blisters seem to be multiplying as well. It's just on the pubic mound and nowhere else. I'm thinking it's jock itch so I've been applying anti-fungal cream on it day and night but I haven't seen improvements.

Help! I'm embarrased to go my dermatologist. Please... I'd really appreciate any advice.

Symptoms:
-Pimples
-Small, pus-filled blisters
-Very itchy (I itch like a mad man at night)
-Scaly
-Dry

I encourage you to go and be seen at this point. If you've been applying jock itch cream for more than a few days and it's not better, then odds are it's something else going on. All sorts of bacterial infections can occur as well as if it's a dermatological issue, you'll need different treatment too.

Not sexually active then not a STD, you would need to see a Dr.

Edit: I'm not sexually active. So I don't what caused those symptoms.
