Itchy dark spot on labia...what could this be?

Hello,
I have one small dark, brown bump on my inner labium and it gets irritated or itchy (not painful). I have seen photos of herpes and genital warts but this is a dark spot, not fluid filled, and not light-coloured like a wart. I am very concerned --what STD do you think I could have contracted? I thought it was HPV or herpes but it doesn't seem to resemble either type of "bump" that manifests wth these viruses... any ideas? I want to be prepared when I go to see the doctor.
