LGV ?

I received unprotected oral sex from a TG (Male) on Dec 10th 2014.  I started feeling swollen Lymph nodes in my hip/groin about Feb 20th (70days) later.  I have had all std check.  All including HIV have been negative.  I am still pending my Hep C test.  I was fortunate enough to contact the TG and he has had no symptoms, no known ulcers, no swelling of lymph nodes in throat or groin.  No meds taken for anything.  My doctor has me on Doxycycline for 10 days, telling me that if I have LGV it will knock it out and if I have any other sort of infection it should take care of that as well.  My symptoms included:
1) slightly swollen lymph nodes in groin
2) slight testicle and pelvic pain
3) slight penile/ureathra tingle
4) Upset lower stomach Maybe from stress
5) Tons of stress, tons!

So Im on day 5 of my meds and I still have the slight swollen lymph nodes and slight testicle and pelvic pain, ive also developed slight swollen nodes in my neck and a scratchy htroat this last week, mayby related maybe not.  This had me worried about HIV.  Ive had 3  HIV negative tests Antibodies, Antigens and RNA.  MEanwhile my girlfriend, whom I believe hasnt cheated on me, has been complaining of hip pain.  Almost in the exact spot of her glands and outer hip area.  She says it sometimes hurts down the leg, this has been going on in her for about a month.  I havent told her about this because it seems so far fetched that I could have this rare STD.  I do live n SF bay area, and I understand that LGV is a MSM type of std.

Are my symptoms in line with this?
When would I expect my lymph nodes to stop hurting?
Could my girlfriend have this?
Please Help!

And I forgot to comment on the exposure itself. Chlamydia is rarely if ever transmitted by oral sex, and for sure it's not a risk for LGV. You would had to have topped your TG partner, i.e. unprotected anal sex, to have any risk for it.

LGV of course, not LBV; and photos, not photox. Typos.

First, your doctor is correct that if you had LBV, the doxycycline would have taken care of it. More important, there is no realistic chance you have it. Last I heard, there had not been a single case of classical LGV (with inguinal lymph node inflammation) in the US in over a decade -- or at most a handful of cases acquired in other countries but diagnosed here. Third, assuming your STD testing included urine or a urethral swab specimen for chlamydia, it would have been positive. (LGV is a form of chlamydia.) Finallly, your symptoms aren't at all typical for it. There are no "mild" versions of LGV; if that were the cause of your lymph node issues, it would look similar to the photox in the link below:

So whatever symptoms you might have, I am confident they are not due to any STD, and not from any infection of any kind from your TG exposure a few weeks ago. Continue to work with your doctor if any symptoms or other concerns continue.  Good luck.
