Lower Abdomen Pain plus pain in testicle

Hello,
I am a 23 year old sexually active male, I have been with the same partner for awhile now, and we have unprotected sex.  I got an std test right after we had sex the doctor did not do a herpes blood test and saw no noticable herpes sores but I did get the urine test for STDs and it came back clear and negative.  I have been with her since, but I had sex with a friend I have also been kind of seeing for about 5 months and we used a condom but it broke, once I had realized it broke I pulled out, probably a minute or so after it broke I am assuming.  After I had sex and orgasmed I had extreme lower abdomen pain.  It subsided the next morning but then my left testicle, maybe both, were pained and it felt like it was radiating to my abdomen.  When I got the original STD test I went because of some irritation after urinating, not during, and the doctor said it may be prostatitis.  I only took 5 days or so of the 28 day course of medication as I believe with the relief of the urine test negative I didn't believe I had anything.  Now I am worried, could this be herpes?  About 2 years ago I had this same pain in the bottom of my left testicle and the doctors suspected epididmytis (spelling?) but I took two 10 day courses of medication and the pain only got worse.  I saw a doctor in the ER and they couldnt figure out what was wrong with me, and the pain eventually subsided and no STD was involved (urine test in the ER).  I am nervous, because ever since the pain started Friday morning in the abdomen I have been active playing sports and the pain in the testicle is not subsiding nor the abdomen.  When I lay down and wake up in the morning the pain is next to non existant, its when I walk around all day and sit down i notice the pain, not even when I am walking.  Please any information or advice would help, I am extremely scared that when the condom broke I contracted something that showed just 3 days later with the abdomen pain, I do NOT have any pain while urinating or burning sensation.

Grace,

I didn't say everything is herpes, I simply gave one persons account so that if somebody out there is experiencing the same thing they will be inclined to seek medical advice from their physician, as I did.  It is my hope that by relaying this story,as many others have done, the spread of this incurable disease will be slowed.  It is a senseless disease that causes a lot of people unspeakable pain, both physical and mental.  I urge everyone to be tested, especially if they have symptoms and have had unprotected sex.  This is the only way to help slow the spread of this disease.

really  not everything is herpes.  folks need a proper work up and testing. no need to scare folks needlessly.

When I contracted Herpes, the pain was instant.  The crease on the inside of my thigh was literally on fire with pain and I knew it wasn't right.  I told myself that it was just a skin tear an treated it with antibiotic ointment.  It didn't go away, only got worse.  If I had been inspecting it,I would have noticed that there were blisters now on the spot that was so painful.  I saw my doctor right away.  By this time I was having horrific pelvic pain caused by having lesions on my cervix.  I was put on massive doses of acyclovir around the clock in order to get the virus back in dormancy.

My point being, there are time lines for everything but everybody doesn't fit neatly into every little package.  Sometimes there is something that happens that can't be explained, but guaranteed, it's happened before.

My doctor took smears of my leasions and did a pap smear.  She also drew blood for testing.  The blood test were inconclusive because it was too soon for the antibodies to show up in my blood, but that did confirm that this was my first exposure and outbreak of Herpes.

Everybody involved in this will need testing if life is to return to some sort of normal and for friendships to remain.  It isn't a crime to get Herpes, but it's a crime not to at least try to get it under control.

Best of luck,

honestly if you can still play sports then this isn't that much pain.  also pain that starts right after orgasm, isn't from a newly acquire std if you are concerned that you contracted something from your 2nd partner when the condom broke.

follow up  on this further with your provider as needed.  Also talk to your 2nd partner about their std testing to see when they were last tested and for what.

Nothing you mention sounds like herpes but if you've never been tested and want peace of mind, easy enough to get a type specific herpes igg blood test done.
