Male Yeast Infection or Herpes

by Full_O_Questions, Oct 22, 2009 04:38PM
I had protected sex about a week ago with someone for the first time with this partner.  Yesterday (5 days after) I noticed that I had small red bumps around my penis and they were itchy.  I am having no trouble or pain while urinating, and no other symptoms(fever, discharge, etc.)  At first I though it might have been an allergic reaction to the condom, but then thought that it was weird for it to emerge so late after the exposure.  I am wondering if this sounds more like a male yeast infection or herpes.  The bumps are small, red, and raise (like misqueto bites, but smaller), and there is a little area that looks like dried skin.  This is not on my penis itself, but more at the base and surrounding.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Bumps can be so many things, it is best to see a Dr for an exam and possible testing.
