I have been having sex with a woman since May, and she told me recently she had candidiasis, and i should be tested. A blood test showed positive for candida antibodies. I had been experiencing red marks on my penis head over the summer, but these would go away with cordidone 10 treatment. I have another red mark on the penis head, and following the test, was prescribed 5 daily doses of fluconazole 150mg which i completed a week ago. Also ketoconazole cream for the penis. My MD saw no sign of oral thrush. I still have the red spot on my penis, but have never had itching or burning sensationwhen urinating. Assuming the treatment i have had, shouldn't I be cured by now, or does the red mark take that long to heal? Seems the cortisone worked faster? Please help! Thanks
