Marks lasting up to 10 weeks

I have had marks on the bottom rim of the head of my penis. I was wondering what types of std outbreaks can last this long?

What kind of marks?

The only std that could cause bumps on the genitals for this long is HPV.

You could also have a fungal infection.

They are like red circlular marks, not necessarily raised marks. They are funny becasue at some points in the day they are not AS apparent as other points in the day. Sometimes the marks itch and i sometimes have a sensation in the tip of my penis. Could these marks be scars?

Do you have a reason to have scars there?

I think you need to follow up with a doctor.  This could easily be a fungal infection.

actually this is exactly whats up with me, except the marks are not red they are just a bit lighter shade of my skin color(white). sometimes i notice them and other times i don't. just little white dots on my penis. its like a rash, theyre not pimples that could be popped or anything its just dots. im trying to think of something to compare them to but i am having a hard time thinking. what do you think this is?

thanks for the info but it is certainly not that, they're not raised bumps and not formed around the head of the penis. they are just scattered dots, some slightly raised but nothing too serious.

Has a doctor ever seen them?  Perhaps you should have a doc check them out.
