by johnboy101, Dec 27, 2007 10:07PM
I was given 2g azithromycin to cure chlamydia and gonorrhea. 2 week slater i stil felt symptoms. I took anther 2g azithromycin and cipro. two weeks later still felt symtoms and took 1g azithromycin and 400mg cefizime (which is listsed on the CDC's website for recommended treatment). I still have tingling a week later. Could chlmydia and gonorrhea be resistant to all of these meds?

Have you even been tested?

You might not have an std, and might have something else going.  Taking meds you don't need is a bad idea, and you should see a doctor to get tested.

Wait another week to ensure the meds are out of your system, and actually get tested.
