Molluscum Spreading

I posted a question earlier regarding spreading of Molluscums Contagiosum.  I have been battling these in the genital region for over a month now.  Today I noticed 2 tiny red bumps almost in parallel with my belly button.  I went in and the Physician's assistant said it was Molluscum and froze both bumps.  I'm still uncertain if those were, but my big fear now is....will this spread all over my body?  I thought this was supposed to stay localized to the genital area.  I've been really good about hand washing and using a clean towel every time etc....

I'm getting really paranoid about this spreading all over my body.  Any insight would be great.

Thanks,
R

Yes you can spread molluscum all over your body which is why it's important to treat it since there are effective treatments.

Some providers will instruct you on how to pop them and deal with them at home but don't do it without being told to do so as well as how to do it properly. Goof it up and you risk spreading it to more body parts and making it worse.

yeah i am familiar with that...its super bothersome i don't have any right now, but i know that my boyfriend has some similar to it. I went to the health department today and they gave me the all clear and said that the bumps where insignificant im still worried though cause i had a yeast infection and its gone now, but my boyfriend sure has some issues... i hope it just staph inffection...at least its treatable.. unlike some thing. :(

I have a question did you ever pop one cause im trying to figure out if i have them or not im so scared that they are an std but there is no way i got an std unless my boyfriend cheated on me. I popped on on my inner thigh and i pulled out a whole cystic sac and it bled then like two days later two more popped up in the same area and then on the other side.. the mess is wrong with me?
