More Antibiotics?

I took 400 mg of suprax to treat a gonorrhea infection two days ago. Today I exposed myself to the bacteria again through sexual contact. Do I need another dose of antibiotics or will the previous dose suffice being that it is still in my system?

If you had tested positive, 2 days is not enough time for the medication to work properly.  Not only have you possibly been re-infected, you could have infected or re-infected your partner.

No sex for 7 days after you take your meds, and no sex for 7 days past when your partner gets treated.

You might need to be re-treated.  You should call your doctor.

If you are self treating, stop doing that, and see your doctor.  You could have a different infection and need a different medication.

Why would you knowingly expose yourself again? Were you diagnosed with gonorrhea or did you just self medicate?
