Can a male pass NGU to a female partner? Whats the difference between NGU and UTI for a woman?
What are the treatments for the two conditions?

no, they have not, I am feeling really sick today, with nausea, and a sharp pain in my side.

it's time to see an urologist.

have they been doing prostate exams on you too?

Grace, I know this is from some time ago, but I still am in need of some help.
After going to the again I was re-tested for STD and given Azrithomician, and another antibiotic (to cover Gono and Clymida), probly because I was so desperate from my symptoms getting much worse. Pain in my penis (like a dull kind of sore  feeling- at the tip and along the shaft) , testicles , slight fever, some pain while urinating and ejaculation.
After being treated I started feeling better in 24-30 hrs later. But 4-5 days ago I started feeling the dull pain again (in penis)  less this time, and some burning while ejaculation, and the pain in the testes especially with pressure (wearing jeans) .

This also started a few days after sex with my partner that was just treated for the UTI- you asked about her testing, and she said they tested her urine before giving her the Cipro for a week. Now she started feeling some UTI symptoms  again...and started on Cranberry juice.

For the last for days my symptoms seem to come and go, but I have not been sexually active.
Any advice would be very helpful,  I was thinking of going back to the clinic for a follow-up but they already tested me and they said I was negitive for all STD's and UTI-
It just seems like quite a coincidence that my partner got a UTI  10 days or so after me having oral sex with another woman. I am just worried about everyones health and want to do the right thing.

there are non-std related infections you can get from oral sex. some of them even are viral infections that we don't even test for outside of research.

if you still have symptoms 3 weeks later, return for more testing.

do you know did your partner have proper uti testing done or just they heard her symptoms and put her on antibiotics?

I tested clean for std's at the clinic, but I did have a oral encounter with another person three weeks ago. I seem to have all the usual symptoms of a infection. - no meds  yet

why don't we start more at the beginning with this?  have you had another partner other than your regular partner recently?  have you been on any medication for your symptoms?

Grace, I went to the clinic and they tested me for UTI  (with a dip test)  and didn't find anything- my partner told me few days ago that she has a UTI and is being treated with Cipro. I have had all the symptoms of a UTI for two weeks now, Will the dip test indicate NGU, or is there another kind of test for that?

usually ngu appears within a week or two. urethritis is pretty much the same as an uti too.

if the urethritis is caused by chlamydia then yes indeed the female can get it too.

If a male can pass NGU to a female it has not known to affect her.

NGU is a bacterial infection and I am not exactly sure what a UTI infection is caused by, I know bacertia but don't know the dynamics of it...search online for more info on UTI.

Treatments are left up to Dr's to prescribe.
