On June the 2nd I had an encounter with a CSW (street prostitute) in which she masturbated me with possibly some of her vaginal fluid on her hand and gave my penis head two small licks/kisses to the side of the urethra opening. She also licked her hand at some point before touching my penis.

I have since (within the window for accurate testing) tested negative for both Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.

I have no symptoms of burning during urination or any type of discharge. I do, however, have discomfort in my testicles (mostly the left).

I have some questions

1. What is the likelihood of contracting NGU with this type of exposure? (I'm aware from reading the expert forum that the hand-genital contact is of no risk at all)
2. Is testicular pain a symptom of NGU?
3. If it is, would you have the symptom of testicular pain with the absence of painful urination and discharge?

You doc sounds like he's taking a reasonable approach.  The Cipro 500 mg is a single dose, correct?

Sounds like you're in good hands with your doc.  Let us know if you continue to have problems.  Epididymitis is always an interesting topic.

He was aware that both my Gonorrhea and Chlamydia had been returned negative. He was aware that I am not having discharge or burning upon urination. He did a physical exam and thought maybe the epididymitis was perhaps slightly swollen. Considered it to be caused by urine backing into my system.

Told me to let it run its course for a couple of days. If it didn't subside or if the pain increased, to fill the prescription of Ciprofloxacin 500mg that he gave me.

This is not symptomatic of NGU.  I was also going to suggest epididymitis when I read your post.  However, it would not have resulted from your encounter.  Epididymitis is typically an infection that happens over time and as a result of not taking care of a previous infeciton in the urinary tract, that moves up to epididymis.

How did your doctor diagnose you?  Did he diagnose based on symptoms alone?  Maybe it's not even epididymitis if he didn't do a comprehensive exam.

Thank you Grace.

I assumed so, but the testicular pain has caused me to second guess myself and assume its NGU because I hadn't tested for it. I'm also concerned about passing on the NGU to my wife.

My Doctor has given me Cipro 500 for the possibility of Epididymitis. Hopefully this clears up the discomfort.

this was a no risk encounter. there was never any reason for any worry or any testing from it.

I'd like to add that the testicular pain did not start until approx. the 23rd-24th, approx. 3 weeks after the encounter.

Also, would licking her hand, and then masturbating me pose any risk?
