NGU???

I am a 23 y/o male that tested positive for NGU today. But I don't feel like I have had any of the symptoms. On the paper they gave me at the health dept it said that symptoms show up around 3-14 days after exposure and symptoms include watery, white drip from penis and/or burning or pain when urinating. I have been the same guy for a year now except for one time back 4 months ago. Have I must have gotten it from my consistent partner or from the one time 4 months ago?

ngu can be caused by many things. what is normal mouth bacteria in the mouth, isn't always so normal when introduced into the urogenital tract via oral sex as well as there are many viral causes of it too.

what testing was done?

why did you get tested if you had no symptoms?

I went due to a bump on my anus that seemed different but the dr didn't say anything about that. She swabbed my penis and tested for other stds like normal and that's when she said that I tested positive for NGU. But she wasn't exactly sure about the bump.

have you had your gardasil shots? has your partner?

did you and your partner go for full std testing prior to starting to have sex together?
