Nausea and kidney pain after sex

I had protected sex yesterday with a random girl (i know this was very stupid). Well, today I woke up with nausea which is very abnormal for me. I took a nap and then woke up with my right kidney hurting. Any ideas what this could be?

these could be many different things. should symptoms get worse, be seen.

since this was protected sex, odds are it isn't a std going on.  we recommend it for good reason!

Okay, thanks Grace. I just woke up and am still feeling nauseous so, I am not sure what to think at this point, but I am extremely worried. Can you begin to feel symptoms within the first 12 hours of infection from herpes? Not the blister part, but the ill feeling of nausea and pain? I wouldn't even think you could catch a cold that quickly.
