Need Some Advice

So 6 days ago i was at a party and i was drunk and i was about to hook up with this girl. The condom was old and dry so i took it off. She gave me oral and then i couldnt get my penis in but maybe like an inch for like half a minute. Before this i was a virgin. The next day sober I felt worried about any stds so i waited 5 days then went and got tested at a local clinic. They took a blood test and a urethra swab (which was painful i might add). The nurse said i had no discharge and they should have my results monday. I havent shown any symptoms and they said to come back for a hiv test in 3 months. Should I still feel so worried about this? And did i go to early for the test ?

Its not HIV.

You do need to follow up with your doctor though.  Maybe you have some vision issues that are causing headaches, but you do need to get it checked.

Again, its not related to an std.

You need to show your doctor.  There is no std that causes a bump in the throat.

Sounds like it, but you should never ever leave your doctor's office without knowing a diagnosis, and why you are taking meds.

If he seems like he is in a rush, so what?  He gets paid (and paid well, I might add), to be in a partnership with you regarding your health.

I wouldn't worry about stds or HIV.

he didnt say it was quick. But since he prescribed it with the antihistamine i am guessing for a sinus infection. i just hope this has nothing to do with a std or hiv

You should talk to someone about the anxiety.  There are good meds and therapy for it.

What are you taking amox for?

ARS is not that common, and you can never diagnose HIV based on symptoms alone.

Remember that most people don't have HIV.

Is this anxiety new for you?  Maybe you need to see someone about it.

HIV wouldn't even cause these symptoms.  You need to relax.  What you are feeling is probably allergies and stress.

Your chances of HIV are very slim, as I have said before.  Most people in the US don't have hiv.

Don't hesitate to call the doctor and check on the results.  Sometimes they end up sitting on someone's desk who is out sick or on vacation.

Sounds like the symptoms I get with allergies.  I so wouldn't worry about this, and stop looking stuff up on the internet - it will make you crazy.

clinic said they would call if the results are positive for anything. The internet is making things worse. For some reason i think i have hiv and ars symptoms now. i am going to work now hopefully get my mind off of things. i still dont have a fever but i do have a dry cough and my throat is still red have some muccos driping down. it maybe just allergies ( i hope). i know the odds of one encounter is 1/1000 (with someone who is + ) and i  only penetrated for like 30 seconds and a inch in but i still feel horrible.

Sore throats can be from so many things, so please don't worry about HIV, ok?

Remember that most people aren't infected with HIV - less than 1% in the US, and other developed countries have similar rates of infection.
