Need some help please.

Hey im 18 and recently i found a red like bump on my pubic area. There is only one. it is kinda sensitive a bit. I'm a little afraid it might be herpes. but i am unsure if it is maybe an ingrown hair or a pimple. Could really use some help please!

Herpes lesions usually appear on the shaft of the penis, not the pubic area. If there is a hair growing out of the bump it could be folliculitis. If the bump doesn't form into a blister or other open sore within the next few days then it most likely isn't herpes. Other than that it is difficult to say- there are plenty of non-STD causes of bumps.
