Herpes lesions usually appear on the shaft of the penisCancer - penis Curvature of the penis Penis care (uncircumcised) Penis pain, not the pubicPubic lice area. If there is a hair growing out of the bump it could be folliculitis. If the bump doesn't form into a blister or other open sore within the next few days then it most likely isn't herpes. Other than that it is difficult to say- there are plenty of non-STD causes of bumps.
