New HIV like disease in china......help pls

New Hiv disease china

by Johnbird, 15 hours
Hey guys,

I'm going absolutely crazy here.
I've just read about this new hiv type virus in china (hiv negative disease)

I recently had protected intercourse with a Chinese prostitute. The incident lasted a few minutes and was protected.

I have had std tests done for hiv, syphilus, hepatitis c, ghonnorhea, chlamydia, herpes 1&2. All negative at 14 weeks.

I've been trying to put this whole thing behind me but have for the last month or so had a red rash on my chest and back after showering. I'm also itching through the day. It feels like something is crawling on me. My skin seems super sensitive as well, basically I'm breaking out in a rash from grass, carpet or anything else I touch that's not normally touched.
The skin issue is really concerning me as I've never had any skin issues my whole life and now this has started...

After the incident I was actually sick about a month later. I had bad flu like symptoms and fever for a few days. Just after this I experienced a bad boil/foliculitis in my groin. This took weeks to
Subside.

I am trying to work out if my skin issue is caused by a possible scabies infection....and that's when I stumbled on this new hiv like virus

Can anyone tell me if this could be this new disease??
I can't find a lot online but have read it's spread very very easily and even if condoms are used,

I'm scared stiff i may have infected my partner

Oh my groin lymph nodes have been enlarged and sore for months now too

Nothing specific I can offer about the new illness you mentioned... and since you tested negative 14 weeks after having sex with a Chinese prostitute, I don't think you have an STD.

I would go to a doctor/dermatologist, and relay all these things to him/her in detail and see what they mention.

Also... don't neglect a possibility that this could be all in your head (a psychosomatic response).

I mean if it were true and this disease is spread so easily then it would be big news in the USA and rest of the world....

I only saw it when I was reading about the skin crawling sensation I'm experiencing.

Surely if this was a very real thing it would be plastered all over the news??

Yes I'm comfortable with that it's this new disease that scares me, I've read it's much easier to contract and is shed in sweat, saliva etc as well.

Google new aids disease china and it comes up with pages and pages

You had protected sex hence not a risk for HIV

It seems like there was a lot of talk about it around 2012 but I haven't seen anything since...

Is it still spoken about?

My tongue is white with red bumps at the back and I also experience joint pain. It seems like all the symptoms mentioned line up with me...I've never had these weird symptoms hence my concern.

The fact that my incident was with a Chinese sex worker only increase my
Concern
