New girlfriend has me worried now.

OK i just got a new girlfriend who ive been seeing for about 4 weeks now. when we first started going out she said she didnt want to have sex with me until she got a std test, but we have had unprotected oral sex. her test which she had taken after the unprotected oral sex , came back negative, but today she has a huge cold sore on her lip and now shes questioning me, now im super worried that maybe i have genital herpes. Ive never had any signs or symptoms of genital herpes. only thing i can think of is i used to get cold sores when i was a teen, now its just once in a blue moon. im hoping maybe you guys can help me? give me some tips? or just tell her to shut up? haha sorry trying to make myself cheer up, thanks

Its possible you gave her oral herpes from your oral herpes.
She really should be seen by her doctor to make sure that what she has is a cold sore.
Cold sores are herpes type 1, and its possible to transmit that to someone else by kissing or giving them oral sex.
You both need to be tested for herpes, and you can ask your doctor for a type specific IgG blood test.
