Occasional cough, itchy groin, bump on penile shaft

So, I've looked up everyone details on most relevant STD's and can't figure out what on earth this could be. I've got an itch around my groin and slight rash (similar to a mild form of jock itch), that seems to be subsiding slowly, but I can't say for sure. It's mainly on the scrotum, and between my legs and groin. It was pretty itchy for a couple of days but I've had jock itch before, and this wasn't nearly as bad. I also started feeling like I have a cough some of the time, this started right when the weather started to get colder. It's mostly when I take a deep breath, but doesn't seem to have compromised my stamina or endurance (I bike a lot). At first I was wondering if it could be pubic lice or something like that.

Last night I discovered a very small bump on the bottom shaft of my penis, kind of like a raised red bump. It's almost like an infected hair follicle, but I don't see any hairs there specifically. It's alone and feels a bit like a pimple when I touch it, so far it hasn't grown, or excreted anything.

I'm currently with my girlfriend of two months, and we first had unprotected sex a couple of weeks ago. We've never discussed STD's or our history much but both of us say we don't have much of one, and according to her it was both her (and my) first time trying unprotected sex.

I've recently been under a huge amount of stress from work and family matters, so I'm wondering if it could be a compromised immune response of some kind. I'm not sure what other symptoms to look out for, but so far I haven't really noticed any.

Could anyone help me with what this could possibly be?

Just think you should see a Dr to find out what it could be.

Is this potentially a dermatological condition I should seek attention for? I noticed a couple of tiny pimple looking bumps show up around my groin and inner thigh area over the past week and disappear. They aren't painful, though I can feel them when I touch them, and they didn't burst or anything. They really look like miniature pimples.

Nothing to do with a STD.

I suppose I should mention that the cough sometimes subsides. I've also been feeling tired a bit more often though I'm not sure if that's because I'm spending more time at home and don't fight it off or not. I can't really identify what any of this could be, it's rather distressing.

Skin issues can be many things often not a STD, but you would have to see a Dr for an exam.
