Odds of getting an std from a one night stand

having a one night stand form having anal sex unprotected (im the bottom) what are the odds of getting a std? and if it has been around 7-8 months since this happened can i assume that odds are i didnt contract anything?

they can be. there is more tender skin and more of a blood supply in the anal area.

okay this is basically my last question and itz more out of curiousity...in catching an std (besides hiv) are the odds raised when u have anal sex vs vaginal?

ask the clinic you go to what they test for and go from there.  

www.ashastd.org has a full list of std's and how to test for them for more reading.

now when they say full std screening i hear they dont test for all stds....so would i jsut get tested for chymidia, gonoroiea, syphilis, and herpes? (ik i cant spell) and do i have to request certain things to get tested for?

It is possible to have std's for some time without showing any signs or symptoms.  Do not assume you are safe.

can i at least feel better if i have no signs after 7 or 8 months? and i mean i asked the guy i did it with and he said he was tested in september and was negative for stds...so thatz y im asking. cause imma have to wait before i get a chance to get tested.

don't assume anything. If you had unprotected sex with a random partner, cover your bases and get a full std screening done, including herpes testing.
