Oral STD?

I have been getting reoccuring bumps on the roof of my mouth near my tonsils. It is one bump at a time and the two times I remember it happening (a week or two apart) it was in the same spot. The bump is very small and not painful at all. It does pop, in the past it was there before I started eating and then was gone when I was done. Then today one showed up and I reached into my mouth and popped it fairly easily. I am just concerned that it could be an STD, my current boyfriend and I have had oral sex once and it was a little over a month ago probably. And it was a while after that that the first bump appeared. So my question is does this sound like any oral std that you know of, and should I be concerned?

no reason to think this is std related at all.

see your provider to get a proper diagnosis so you don' t have to worry about it like this :)

did you and your bf have full std testing prior to starting to be intimate together?

Thank you for your response, I am actually going to see a doctor tomorrow. After some research I am starting to think it is related to hormonal imbalance. I have symptoms like insomnia, fatigue, hair loss, and loss of appetite. But I didn't think to correlate those with the bumps in my mouth until I read that h

Hormonal imbalance can cause fever blisters, though I'm not sure that's what I'm experiencing. No, my boyfriend and I didn't undergo any screening prior. I haven't at all but I am tomorrow. And he has since because he just left for basic and it's required.

no, these aren't oral herpes symptoms.

definitely you both should get proper std testing and make sure it does include herpes testing too. you two can't make educated decisions about what precautions to take until you know who has what.
