Oral sex

Oral sex

I have a monogamous relationship with my current partner, and i had an encounter with a streetwalker.  I received oral sex on my penis which was covered with a lubricated condom with n-9 spermcide, however in the rush of things, i did not remove the condom right away after ward and left it on a few minutes before i finally got it off, and I feel like some of her saliva could have touched my penis or surrounding genitalia area.  I was pretty paranoid about not getting my partner infected, so i'm in the process of getting tested for stds/hiv.  But 15 minutes after the incident I decided to take a shower and clean the area.  I used regular hand soap, and soft soap in the bottle and let it sit for a few minutes, and then afterward i thought it would be best using 3% hydrogen peroxide, so i poured that over the areas and used a few cottonballs to clean the area and under my foreskin.  After that I used 70% rubbing alcohol over my genitals and penis.   I continued to then use hand soap while in the shower having running water down my genital area the whole time.  I'm concerned because i really made this mistake and i'm not sure if hydrogen peroxide, or rubbing alcohol or hand soap is very affective against stds/hiv even if the possible exposure is only some of her saliva touching with the spermicide lubricant and coming into contact with my testicles and genital area.  Maybe I'm freaking out, but i would like to know if i've tried to cover my basis until the report comes in, and if anyone knows how long i should wait 2-3 days so that the results are accurate if i do have some kind of std?

I am not an expert, I just have a general background about STD's and HIV...my personal opinion is that your fine and just paranoid about the whole situation. You used a condom during oral sex which is 99-99.9% effective against STD's and HIV from what I know. Even if saliva came in contact with your penis, the chances of you contracting anything I would consider "low risk". But if you want to have a peace of mind and still worried about it I would get tested. When you get tested it usually takes 3-7 working days to get your results back. A good time to test I would say is usually 3 weeks after exposure to get a baseline, 2 months after for a follow up and 3 months to be certain. The reason why I say that is because gonorrhea and chlamydia takes 48 hrs to be a reliable test, syphilis takes 3-4 wks, HIV 6 weeks to be reliable but 3 months to be certain, and herpes they usually wait for symptoms to break out usually takes about 1-3 weeks and they can culture any of those outbreaks of they do occur or even a blood test. But I wouldnt worry bout it if I was in your position. But like I said if you feel like you wanted to get test you should. Goodluck! Hope this helps!

Hi, exactly the same thing happened to me, i left the condom like 10 minutes after the oral sex with a streetwalker and i´m vey worried if maybe the salive came in contact with my penis. I also got a shower just 1 minutes after that and clean my penis very well. The thing is that like 5  hours after the showers i started to feel some burning in my penis and i have some pain in my testicles and in the back of my legs. Today (three days after) i still feel this symptoms. I´m very worried because i´m getting married in one month and i don´t want to infect my girlfriend. Somebody says that this symptoms could be just from anxious behavior. Do you know how long does the symptoms of STD´s takes to appear? Which are the STD´s that i can get from oral sex? As I said before, the symptoms just started 5 hours after the oral sex. I really need some advice.

No one had a risk when using a condom.
