OralSex

Not sure what I have but a week ago I performed oral sex on this guy and I have had a swollen throat for 2 days now.  So I got a pen light out to look at it and saw white patches on my tonsils should I be worried.  He has assured me there is no possible way for him to have any STDs but I need reassurance.  It's not really sore just bothersome because it is swollen and difficult to swallow.

Hi

You were at low risk for STDs.
The worse thing I could be is oral gonorrhea, but that is rare to get.

Of course you can get germs and whatnots from performing oral sex, that you have oral gonorrhea, I don't think you do.

Probably just bad coincidence that you are now getting ill.
