Paiful urination with blood.

by curiousme222, Sep 02, 2008 02:13PM
My boyfriend is 18 years old, and has been with a few different women. Me and him have not had sexual intercourse, but we have had oral sex, and those such things. About 6 months ago, he went to the bathroom and told me that he had just peed out blood and that it was extremely painful. He was going to set up a doctors appointment, but it didn't occur again, so he figured it was nothing. Now, he just got back from a vacation, and he says that its happening again, and its more frequent. He's really worried, because, on top of this, one of his ex-girlfriends contacted him, and said that she had a STD and she thought he may have given it to her. Seeing how he was with someone before her, the chance is likely. He's really worried and is setting up a doctor's appointment ASAP. He is also going to get tested for and STDs that he may have. The only thing holding him back is the fact that his medical coverage has just expired, so he needs to get that fixed first. In the mean time we are both really afraid of what this could mean. And i turned her thinking hopefully someone could help me. Also, we have been together for over a year, and in that time he hasn't slept with anyone. So my other question is, if this is a side effect of an STD, then why is it showing up so late? Please help, any answers you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :]

He needs to find an std clinic.  He won't need insurance then.  He shouldn't wait.

He should also find out what std the ex has.

It doesn't sound like an std - symptoms wouldn't come and go like that, but its a real possibility and he needs to be seen.

If you've given him oral, you need to do some oral testing if he comes back positive for something.
