The long duration since your exposure makes it even less likely that you got HSV. Time for you to stop worrying. EWH
Thank you doctor. This had been very helpfull. There's only one last thing I just forgot to mention in my first question. Before I had that 4 seconds unprotected sex period 2 months ago, I also gave her oral but that too only was for like 3-4 seconds maximum (on kiss or lick or whatever ppl call it). Does that change your answer for herpes ? With that exposure I forgot to mention, is it possible I got herpes ?
No, not form the exposure you describe. EWH
Is it possible it's herpes ?
Getting tested was the right thing to do. The sorts of STDs that can cause urethral discharge or burning on urination are chlamydia, gonorrhea and non-gonococcal urethritis. (NGU), all of which I suspect you were tested for. My guess however is that all tests will be negative. It is clear from your note that you are worried and concerned about this HOWEVER, please remember:
1. Most people do not have STDs
Even when partners have STDs, transmission during unprotected sex, on average, occurs less than half and most like 20% of the time.
3. In your case your exposure was brief, thus logically your risk is lower than if your exposure was prolonged.
4. the time course and nature of your symptoms are not particularly suggestive or urethritis.
On the other hand, sometimes after an exposure that, in retrospect, one wishes they had not had, persons tend to examine themselves and be far more attuned to genital sensations than in periods when they are not concerned. This in turns leads to noticing what turn out to be normal sensations that might have been not noticed or ignored at other times. Perhaps this is a contributor to your situation. EWH
