Pain is penis shaft and other question

The other day, I woke up with no pain in my penis at all. I masturbated (like I normally do) in the morning. When I was taking a shower, I noticed a sharp kind of pain on the right side of my shaft towards the top near the head. Theres nothing there on the skin. No marks, no redness, nothing. But this pain that comes and goes. I mainly feel it if I "flex" my penis. Its not unbearable kind of pain, its just annoying. What could this be? Its been 3 days. It doesn't hurt while I am masturbating. Maybe I should take a break from masturbating?

Also:
Ive always wondered this... how common is it for STDS to be silent?  And if someone has a STD that is silent and has sex with others, if the other person catches the STD, does that mean there STD will also be silent as well?

No, it varies from person to person. It is how the immune system reacts to infections. Person A may not know about it (Asymptomatic) and pass it on to person B. Give or take a couple of days and Person B may be symptomatic. It just depends.

Thanks for trying to answer my question but hears what I mean. I know STDs can be silent. But my question is, if someone (Person A) has an STD and doesnt know it because it is silent and that person has sex with Person B... Does that mean that Person B will get that STD and it will be silent as well?

not sure what your other question is that you wanted an answer for but if it's can std's be silent - yes of course so.  that is why we recommend periodic full std screening here all the time.

I concur with Grace with the irritation. Ease off it a bit, Too much masturbation will increase the sensitivity of the skin as well as nerves.

this isn't likely to  be a std causing this.

sounds far more like being a little too rough too often with the lil guy to be honest. Lay off the masturbation for a few days and see if that helps. If it still hurts after a few days then see your provider.

Yes I have had sex before. This is STD related. I am asking if  this could be one or not. Thats why I posted in the STD forum. I never heard of a STD causing a pain like what I described but I am asking.

I am also still curious about the other question if any of you guys can tackle that one.

Just as what stopstds aforementioned, it is probably from excessive masturbation. Did you have an encounter with someone before? If not, this is not std related from you would have had an encounter.

I wont lie, I have been masturbating a lot in the past couple of days. Or the day or 2 before I "hurt myself", it was an excessive amount.

What STD would cause a pain like this? If thats what you are getting to.... Im confused on your last comment.

Just excessive masturbation or no proper hygiene could be a cause of it, irritation or allergy. Stds are a concern if u had sex with some one who had sex.
