Pain on outside of penis

Okay, I received oral sex form a women about a little over a week ago. It was un-protected. I didnt know her, and have no way of contacting her now. After about 30 minutes of takling to her, she gave me oral sex, so assume she is very sexually active and not very safe. I have no pain during urination and no discharge. I am experencing some irritation below the head of my penis. I started taking Keflex the day after (for a infection in my gums, need a root canal). I talked with my doctor and he said not to worry about anything? Should I seek a 2nd opinion?  Does Keflex counter any STD's?

Oral sex is an infrequent source of STDs.  Herpes is the greatest risk and gonorrhea is a rare possibility, but neither sounds likely from your symptoms.  Keflex would prevent some STDs (gonorrhea, maybe syphilis) but not herpes or others.

I don't know what you mean by "irritation" of the penis.  If you have a visible rash, redness, or sores, go back to your doctor.  Otherwise, s/he is right; I wouldn't worry about it and do not think you need a second opinion.
