Painful lesions with green pus?

In November I acquired a new sexual parter other than my ex-boyfriend of three years. These two gentlemen are the only two partners I have had. Both partners and I never used condoms. Just recently this new partner and I engaged in anal sex. He is a very large individual so I will assume there was rectal tearing during intercourse; during vaginal intercourse prior to anal, he began to experience friction cuts on his penis. Post anal sex he went to the bathroom and I assumed washed off his penis before we resumed vaginal intercourse. Less than 48 hours after this I began to notice small bumps on the inner lips of my vagina. Thinking they were related to razor burn I ignored them until these bumps became more pronounced and began to hurt. Eventually a greenish-white discharge began to come from my vagina and the sores appeared near my anus and on the outer lip of my vagina near my clitoris as well as developing in to extremely painful sores near my vaginal opening. This was four days ago. I have used Monistat 1 (thinking this was related to an infection from the anal sex) and that seemed to help with some of the bumps; some have gone away completely while others took their place in new areas. The new bumps only appear during the day as I move about, etc and over night with the application of the Monistat cream they disappear. The bumps near my vaginal opening however have turned in to very painful open lesions. Today when I apply gauze I see that the pus on these lesions is a light green, no odor. Vaginal discharge has ceased. Am I looking at herpes or something else? My new partner has had an STD screening two years ago and since then has had only two partners--myself and his then-wife, who was clean. There is no odor associated with my conditions and the only bumps to have progressed in to lesions are the four-five around the vaginal opening. Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated on what I am dealing with an any treatment options I can try. I am making an appointment with a gynecologist for later this week; I thought perhaps the Monistat would/could clear up what I thought was just an infection, but now I am not so sure. Thanks in advance. - LC

this isn't yeast - yeast is never green!

you need to go and be seen and get a proper exam and testing of your vaginal secretions done.  also if they feel that these bumps look like herpes, they can do lesion cultures on them.  The appointment needs to be as soon as you can - tomorrow if you can.

definitely ask your new partner to go for a full std screening this week also.  herpes testing isn't  a part of routine std testing so odds are you and your partner have never been tested for it before.

let us know how your appointment went.
