Painless pimple on penis

Hello,
I am a 30 year old male. 2 days ago, I noticed a single small pimple-like bump on the head of my penis. It is completely painless and does not itch or burn (and there are no other symptoms such as burning while urinating, etc.) so I don't think it is an STD.
Is it possible that it is a cyst or some type of skin irritation? If so, will it go away on its own?

I can't tell anything from your description. Generally I do not view posted clinical photos and have not looked at yours. It's too close to practicing medicine on line; i.e., my role is to discuss risks and possible diagnoses, but never to make a specific diagnosis. For that you need to see a health care provider. Also, as you can imagine, I am leary of downloading files from people I don't know; please don't take it personally.
It would be easier to assess your risk for an STD if I knew more about your sexual lifestyle and exposures. Herpes can be painless. Pimples can occur on the penis. Warts can appear as red bumps. And then there is molluscum contagiosum; see several strings on MC on this forum.
Bottom line: Please see a health care provider. Good luck--
