Persistant Red Scrotum That Appeared Straight After Intercourse With Sex Worker

Hi, I am a 23 year old male. Three days ago In Amsterdam, I had protected oral and penetrative sex with a sex worker. As far as i know, the condom did not split, I was careful when removing it and washed my hands thoroughly afterwards.

The following morning I felt a burning sensation in my scrotum along with it being really red and a little itchy. This hasn't changed at all over the last three days.

The clinic said it is too early to do tests but I've convinced myself it's an STD as the symptoms occurred following the event.

What is your opinion?

Many thanks in advance

Thank you for the reply.

I was just really paranoid it was the start of herpes.

Is this something that will disappear over time or do i need to seek treatment do you reckon?
