Persistent pain during and after urination after STD's medication

Hi Doctor

I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend after few days i felt a burning pain in my penis after urination and there was a light discharge coming out of my penis.
I went and see a physician he told me u might be affected by UTI,chmlyadia or Gonorhea so he gave me medication for seven days the medication consists of antibiotics, and another diatery supplementary called uroMax for healthy bladder and urethra system and he also gave me another alakaline powder to put in glass of water and drink he said this will make my urine more alkaline
After 7 days of medication then i waited 2 days but the pain still persist strongly this time during urination and after urination but if i drink a lot of water the pain dissapear..i went back to the physician he told me dont worry it will take sometimes and he gave me another antibiotics(ciprofloxacin) this time he told me for another 10 days and he gave me the pain killers diclofenac and also another dose of uromax i already started this second medication.
I know i have been affected by STD but am i follow the right way to cure it?
is it possible the first medication has cured ?if yes why the pain on my penis keep on coming?
im going to meet my new girlfriend in 10 days im going to have protected sex with her will she get infected?

Hi. As Vance says you cant say for sure what you have and you are on the right path working with your doctor. If you dont feel your geting better talk to your doctor about Mycoplasma. Its an NGU that is somewhat resistant to antibiotics and a bit hard to test for. It can be passed to your new partner.

You can't say for sure if it is a STD, your Dr should have tested you before just giving you medication. Can't say what you have but if symptoms persist then see your Dr again and ask for some testing.

If you do have a STD then no she will be get infected.
