THESE RESULTS ARE CONSIDERED PRELIMINARY AND ARE NOT THE FINAL  LAB REPORT.
A FINAL REPORT WILL BE  PROVIDED VIA YOUR CURRENT REPORTING MECHANISM.

THE LAB I TOOK THE TEST IS LABCORP. HOW RELIABLE IS LABCORP.

DID THEY ALSO TEST FOR HIV 2 VIA REPORT ABOVE?

by H. Hunter Handsfield, M.D., Sep 13, 2007 11:27AM
Negative results for HIV and syphilis.  I cannot tell whether HIV-2 was included.  LabCorp is a national laboratory generally considered excellent, with high quality control standards.

For further information, you'll have to speak with the provider who ordered the tests.

Last question Doctor, for the syphilis test are they test RPR and Also TP-PA RPR too???

by H. Hunter Handsfield, M.D., Sep 13, 2007 12:08PM
Only RPR. TPPA is done only to confirm positive RPR results; a negative RPR rules out syphilis.
