Possibility of false negatives 13 days after ?

Hi there, been reading the forum and posts from the docs over the last 3 weeks and have to say the info here is excellent and refreshingly honest.

My question: On 26 Sept I had unprotected oral (receiving) from a female partner I don't know well.
I panicked with guilt and anxiety and was tested for chlamydia, gonnorrhea, syphilis and HIV the next day but was obviously told tests wouldn't be reliable - all negative.
2 days later i developed a colesore in the a place where i've had them before, i was very dehydrated and had barely eaten - i know this is probably due to anxiety/being run down with little sleep
3 days later I stupidly took 1g of azithromycin (4x250mg at once)
5 days later i got another test and was reassured my risk was very low and reminded of incubation periods, tests all cam back negative again
Yesterday I got tested and got results immediately in a new clinic, again reassured risk was low - all tests came back negative (17 days from exposure, 13 days from taking azithromycin)
i keep thinking i have swollen lymph nodes in groin and neck and mild sore throat, though this may be anxiety. im also obsessively checking for discharge, hard to say if tiny bits are just normal urine/mucus

what are the chances of a false negative from a PCR urine test 13 days after taking the azithromycin ?

Thanks in advance!

To contract syphilis, she would need an active open lip syphilis sore and you would need a cut for the germs to enter. Its more a risk for genital sex not oral.

thanks again that's reassuring. one more thing i noticed a small flat red circle on the head of my penis. i think ive had them before, it gets a layer of skin if dry which can peel off. similar to psoriasis, its very smooth. i was concerned about syphilis because of this and read azithromycin can delay symptoms or cause a false negative for syphilis too. i know that tests aren't valid for 6 weeks but should i be concerened?

Hi, PCR is no good for a urine test , this is a test where a swab is taken of topical irritation. Recieving oral sex is a very low activity and is really only a  risk if she gave you "deep throat" oral as thats where any gems would be, in the back of her throat. And if she did not have any lip sores at the time, you can pretty much rule out herpes.
