in both cases was intact after the encounters. First partner being about 6 weeks ago, second being about 3 weeks ago, the last encounter was 7 days ago.
About 4 days ago I noticed a small amount what looked like a cloudy discharge
right before I went to urinate. When I did urinate it was slightly uncomfortable, but that was probably due to my milking right after I noticed the discharge
, I only notice it now when I'm milking and it's mostly clear. I'm worried that it might be an NGU as the only thing I've done that was risky was unprotected oral. I'm going in to my health clinic tomorrow to get tested, but I'm wondering if it could be anxiety causing my symptoms or if I really caught something.
Ok, I went to the clinic a few days ago and saw a specialist. Told her what my symptoms were (discharge, urinary discomfort, urethral pain) and my risks (unprotected oral with three partners, protected anal with two).
She gave me a quick exam, looked over my lymph nodes, took some blood for a Syphilis / HIV test, did a groin / penis check and took a swab, did say she noticed the discharge even though it wasn't much. But the thing that struck me as strange is she didn't feel the need to prescribe antibiotics to clear it up. She said it was unnecessary as the side effects could cause more problems then they'd probably fix. She said it could be a UTI that I have and that just keeping myself hydrated should flush it out, but if it got worse to let them know when I come back for my results, which won't be for at least another 2 and a half weeks, and they'd give me a prescription...
Does anyone think her judgment was warranted? Or do you think I should go to another doctor and actually get some antibiotics? I'm probably going to go ahead and do that anyway, but I'm just wanting opinions at this point cause that seemed a little off to me.
I actually like her approach, a lot of Dr's will give antibiotics based on symptoms without having a test to back it up. And since she is a specialist I am sure that if she suspected that it was NGU or gonorrhea that she would have prescribed something for you.
