Possible ping pong infection?

Dear all, as I wrote in a previous post, before 2008 I had several experiences with escorts. All protected except one time unprotected oral sex. I was tested for all the common STD's in April 2009 with negative results. After this, I have had some erotic massage experiences after 2013. No penetration. I was tested again by the end of 2010 for chlamidya, gonorrea and trichomonas. I have been tested again in December 2013 (uretral swab, antigen detection for chlamydia) and the results were negative again.
Since Feb 2014 I am experiencing some disconfort after sex with my wife, with a red meatus. Not real pain while urinating and no discharge. My question is the following: is it possible that my wife was infected by me before 2009, that I had eliminated the infection before my tests and she has kept it for 5 years so that she has re-infected me back with Chlamydia? Do you find it realistic?
Thank you very much!

With women it can be tricky as they can be asymptomatic for a long time... but probably not in the range of 5 years.
Besides, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea can be eradicated by your own body in a few months (or probably even less time) if your immune system is strong.

It could be Trichomoniasis though, since women are 'seemingly' more susceptible to it than men (actually, its more difficult to detect in men).

Anyway... your 'symptoms' (if you can call them that) could also be attributed to a simple irritation.

The best way to know for sure would be for both of you to get tested if you are worried about a potential STD (though a likelihood of it is relatively low - if you are both monogamous).

Thank you very much. I got tested for trichomonas in December and also in February due to my anxiety. Both negative. Although detection is very difficult for this, it lowers down the possibilities.

Thanks again.

Do you think I should not worried about it?

Dear Vance, thanks a lot for your quick answer. I think I am obsessed with this situation. After all this time and all the tests I keep on telling myself that this is not possible, but I doubt every time.

Impossible for anyone to have chlamydia for 5 years.

Sorry, I mean "before 2013" instead of "after 2013".
