Protected oral sex, is it safe ???

Hi doctor,

i had protected oral sex (condom on) with a sex worker. Is there any risk if at all in this case ? I heard that HPV or herpes can transmitt skin-skin contact, so im a litte worried.

Best Regards,

Not the Dr's site, but can try to help. Protected sex is safe sex. You have a small chance of getting herpes via oral sex and a smaller chance when it is protected. HVP rarely infects the mouth, so no real worries there.
