Question dr. cook.

Had similer experience. But my different. I used a condom on my fingers to masterbate her.when she was done I removed the condom and let her masturbate me for a few minutes.  So u can't transfer herpes from what u describing.  So  if she touches plays with herself then uses the same hand to masterbate u. There is zero chance  of infection from hepes. What about any others sti?

By the way it was the specialist who I spoke to over the phone who told me to go on the antiviral.this is a doctor.  I think they need to review when these meds should be issued

I guess because the doctor wants to eliminated the low risk factor. I do to want to eliminate the low risk. Cause there is someone else in my life and I wanna make sure I'm ok. So i guess it's not such a bad idea to retest in 4 weeks. I will stop taking the antiviral. I only took one today.

If you test prior to 3 months the med will not change a positive to negative but if you test sooner it could inhibit showing a positive. If you test you should stop for a couple of month prior to testing but you had no risk so why test.

You should not be taking antiviral meds if your not diagnosed for herpes and youve never had an outbreak. These meds dont cure herpes only keep outbreaks under control.

Why all the precaution.  Why put me on valacyclovir. Why they telling there is a low risk. Why have to do blood work in 4 weeks?

No risk from this. Std,s need a protected enviornment to be tranferred and open air is not a protected enviornment.
