Recently i have started itching in my vaginal area. It started right after my period ended. At first it just itched around the area, so i used an itch creme on it. Now it itches like a yeast infection would. I'm not really sexually active. I've only slept with one guy but we didn't use protection(i know, i know, my mother would be ashamed), but the itching started a week after we slept together. Now, when i put the cream on the area that it itches, it burns a little. I do have a discharge...it's more yellow than white...and there is an odor. Is this a yeast infection or something more?

Could be yeast or an STD. Best to see a Dr.
