RPR test

Hi to everyone. I just want to ask if is there a chance that the rpr testcan become negative while on antibiotic therapy?. I will be having a medical exam for a job and i have syphilis for 6 years but in a treatment right now before my medical exam. I am also experiencing some of the neurosyphilis symptoms like twitchng of my eyelid, some muscle spasm, diarrhea, rashes on the sole of the feet and pain in my nape. What could be the best treatment for me having experiencing all this symptoms? Do i need to undergo for lumbar puncture? Is the benzathine penicillin 2.4 mil unit x 3 doses for 1 week interval is enough to treat? I ask all of this because i have a limited resources and i dont have yet a job, that's why it took several years to finally treat it because of the help of my aunt. Please i need advice from the expert. Thank you.

yes, the weekly treatments should take care of the actual infection.  you might continue to test + on the rpr test for quite some time. If you need to get tested for syphilis again any time soon, they will need to do confirmatory testing on you if the rpr is positive.

no, you don't need a lumbar puncture .
