Random Rash on Inner Thigh (Male)

I’m having some issues with my penis and genital area and I wanted to get some opinions/advice from someone else. Recently, within the past week or so, I’ve had a tingling/itching sensation between my inner thighs. I’ve ignored it for the most part but have itched here and there. There wasn’t really a rash or anything so I wasn’t too concerned. Within the past few days, a few red spots have been popping up with the same itchiness. I tried warm showers and washing gently, but it doesn’t help much. I thought it might be jock itch or something of that nature so I bought some Lotrimin and have been applying that. The itching has gone down for the most part, but now there is a much more red rash closer to my scrotum. Some of the bumps in the rash are starting to get bigger and even leak some sort of fluid. For some time, as well, I’ve had some very small bumps on the side of my penis but they have never itched or caused any issues. I’m terrified with the combination of the two it might be herpes and I’ve been trying to get a Dr’s appointment to check it out (the holiday season is making it difficult). Does anybody have any thoughts on what this may be? Or any advice (aside from seeing a doctor, of course)? Please let me know ASAP as I am still freaking out a bit about this. Thank you for your time.

Below are the pictures of what I'm dealing with.

yes fungal also, These areas are sweaty and prone to bacterial and fungal infections. Also if your in the cold weather yo may have stated to wear more clothing which also holds in moisture. When i get these discomforts i use some antibactioal soap and some OTC .5% cortisone cream with aloe to get the healing process started.

Thank you for the reply and concern. This morning I woke up and the itching/slight rash had moved to my scrotum and small parts of the base of my penis. Would that still be something a fungal infection could do? Or is that something different?

Hi, rashes on the inner thighs would be more often fungal related as you suggest rather than herpes. Only testing would confirm your herpes status but what your mentioning do not appear herpes related at all.
