Rash on palms

I have had a rash over the palms of my hands for about a week now. The rash starts off pin-***** size and gets bigger over a few days develping into a blister like red spot. They are not itchy. I think I may also be developing some on the soles of my feet.
Last week I also noticed a small pimple like lump on the edge of my vagina which has now disappeared.
Could I have syphilis? I have been in a monogomous relationship for the past 7 years. Is it likely than I have had it all this time? Are there any other STD's that it might be?

I should add that this doesn't sound exactly like syphilis, but its close enough to check out.

The only std that would cause this is syphilis.

Syphilis is only infectious at certain times, so its possible that you would have only been infected recently.

It is VERY important that you get this checked.  If it is syphilis, it means your partner has either had this a long time, or was with someone else.  If he/she has had this for a long time, there can be serious complications, so treatment is very important.
