Really freaking out...

About 2 days ago, I started having to pee alot more often.  Also some sensitivity in the head of my penis.  Not painful or burning just I was aware...I have no growths, rashes or sores just this feeling.  I haven't had any "discharge" either. Is this some type of urinary tract infection or an STD.??  Any insights would be appreicated...

It's not common that any sort of bacterial STD would take that long to show up. 2 days to 3 weeks is the normal range.  I'd begin to think that's not it.

Possibly you should have your prostate checked?  BPH can lead to frequent urination.  That's where I'd start, at the same time you get your prostate exam you can take a urinalysis.  Not the greatest test, but it's quick, cheap, and if positive (leukocyte esterase) you probably would be infected.  If negative, it might be a false negative, but it would be a good deal of reassurance.

It's possible, but it's not the first thing I would suspect.  Did you have a recent exposure?

Urinary tract infections are rare in young males, though I don't know your age.
