Rec'd Oral sex while wife and I were seperated, now really worried

Like a fool, I received oral sex from a woman I'm sure is quite promiscuous and I'm concerned I might have contacted an STD.

The "event" lasted about 2 minutes and I washed my penis with bacterial soap and alcohol hand cleaner about 5 minutes after that (don't know if that helps).

Do I have a lot to be concerned about?  How long do I need to wait to get tested for the various STDs?  My wife and I are talking about getting back together.  I've never done anything like this before and am scared and ashamed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

HPV is not a high risk with oral sex. HPV is from skin to skin contact, mostly with the genital areas.

why it's different? i receive oral sex like rusty burg...i don't know...now i think that i have inguinal swollen lymph nodes because i feel pain...i'm searching for them. If they're really swollen, they are visible and unmistakable ?

No. They cannot. It takes several minutes...prolonged contact. Stopstds tells everyone to test.

Yes, you can be tested for NGU, gonorrhea, and chlamydia at that time.

Thank you so much.

I called a testing center and they said they can test for several STDs after one week of exposure.  Is this correct?

Thanks again

While they are easily transmittable, it is not that common from oral sex.  Syphilis is rare in the US and even more rare from oral sex.  Herpes does not pose a huge threat if there are no visible blisters. HPV is not a huge risk either. Your overall risk for getting an std from oral sex is generally rare.  They generally do not like the conditions of the mouth. And actually, Herpes and syphilis are not the std's that are likely to transmit orally.

IF and that is a huge IF you got an std from oral sex, your highest risk would have been for NGU, then gonorrhea, then herpes, and least syphilis, hpv, and chlamydia.  HPV and chlamydia are so unlikely that they pose no real threat.  Test if you need the peace of mind but there is no need to rush to a doctor for a low risk encounter.

Oral Sex is less risky but still possibilities exist for STD's, No need for HIV test as oral sex is no real risk for HIV.

Herpes, HPV, Syphilis is a possible risk if your partner had it. These are spread very easily hence consulting you doc is best thing to do. Syphilis and Herpes is > 4months to blood test covering the window period. VDRL (or TPHA or RPR ) can test you for syphilis. Herpes tests are very challenging to diagnose without symptoms. HPV cannot be tested for males. By probability you have a very high chance of having it, you could have your partner vaccinated to prevent her from contracting HPV. Rest of the STD's can be tested once you get symptoms. Consult the doc.

Soaping after 5 mins does not help much, seconds are enough to transmit the germs.
